3-Level Automated Parking System at

Manila East Medical Center

Transforming 22 conventional parking spaces into 58 with four 3-level automated parking systems arranged back-to-back.

Project Overview

Unity Express provided four 3-level automated parking systems for Manila East Medical Center to significantly increase parking capacity within the existing parking area.

The original layout accommodated 22 conventional parking spaces. To maximize the available footprint and vertical space, the final design used two automated parking systems at the front and two systems at the back, creating a back-to-back configuration.

The completed installation increased the property's parking capacity from 22 to 58 parking spaces, creating 36 additional spaces within the available area.

Project Details

Project: Manila East Medical Center
Solution: Automated Parking System
Number of Systems: 4 Sets
Configuration: 2 Front + 2 Back
Arrangement: Back-to-Back
Number of Levels: 3 Levels
Original Parking Capacity: 22 Vehicles
Completed Parking Capacity: 58 Vehicles
Additional Parking Created: 36 Spaces
Operation: Automated Parking

The Challenge

Increasing Parking Capacity Within the Existing Footprint

Manila East Medical Center originally had an area capable of accommodating 22 conventional parking spaces.

Like many established developments, increasing parking capacity by simply expanding the parking area would require considerably more land.

The project therefore needed a solution that could make better use of the existing parking footprint and available vertical space while significantly increasing the number of vehicles that could be accommodated.

The Solution

Four 3-Level Automated Parking Systems

Unity Express provided four automated parking systems, each configured across three parking levels.

The systems were arranged with two sets at the front and two sets at the back, creating a back-to-back parking configuration designed around the available site dimensions.

Instead of relying only on conventional ground-level parking, the automated system uses multi-level platforms to create additional parking positions vertically.

The platforms automatically reposition as required to provide access to vehicles stored within the system.

4 Automated Parking Systems

Four separate automated parking systems were incorporated into the final parking layout.

3 Parking Levels

Each system uses three vertical levels to make better use of the available building height.

Back-to-Back Configuration

Two systems were positioned at the front and two at the back to maximize the available parking area.

Automated Operation

Parking platforms automatically reposition to store and retrieve vehicles within the system

The Result

From 22 Parking Spaces to 58

By utilizing a 3-level automated parking configuration, Manila East Medical Center gained substantially more parking capacity without requiring a proportional increase in land area.
